Hello and Welcome to Summit Trail Middle School!
I am proud to be a Grizzly and honored to support you and your child during the middle school years.
I love middle school students, their families and the educators who serve them. I am passionate about equity and reducing the stigma around mental health. As a school counselor, it is my mission to be present with a tender, open heart; forgive easily; help foster resiliency; promote a growth mindset and trust the innate connection between us all.
Here is a little about me:
I grew up in Maple Valley and graduated from Tahoma High School. I attended the University of Oregon, Western Washington University, and City University. I started my School Counseling career in Tacoma and have been a part of the Tahoma School District since 2005.
After spending time away from Maple Valley on various adventures, I moved back in 2016 with my husband and twins. Over the pandemic our family has expanded to include our comical, black, pug named Nugget. I enjoy reading, learning, being in nature, yoga, art, and spending time with my family and friends.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I am grateful for the opportunity to provide support, guidance, and resources to the STMS community.
