8th Grade Integrated Science
8th Grade science focuses on physical science; energy, motion, forces, chemistry, magnets, sound and light wave content will be the lens through which students will learn essential scientific practices, such as modeling, engineering, communicating science ideas, collaboration and inquiry. Students will develop an understanding of using science and technology to make informed personal and community decisions. In addition, students will learn to accurately gather and interpret scientific evidence, evaluate data and read graphs. They will learn to think, question and communicate like scientists.
