As you may know, Tahoma School District students in grades 6-12 are expected to bring a fully functioning, charged computer to school every day. 6th grade students are expected to use a district Chromebook.
6th Grade Students: Chromebooks will be distributed to all 6th graders during Grizzly Days on August 23rd & 24th. A parent/guardian must fill out a checkout form in Skyward before a Chromebook can be checked out to the student. If your student cannot pick up their Chromebook in August, it will be provided during the first week of school.
7th & 8th Grade Students: Students in 7th and 8th grade may opt to bring their own device in lieu of a district Chromebook if they prefer. Students who wish to use a district Chromebook may pick it up during Grizzly Days on August 23rd & 24th. A parent/guardian must fill out a checkout form in Skyward before a Chromebook can be checked out to the student. If your student cannot attend Grizzly Days, it will be provided during the first week of school.
To ensure a swift pick-up process, parents/guardians should fill out the checkout form found in Skyward Family Access (http://bit.ly/TSDSkywardFamilyAccess) prior to picking it up.
